3月1日上午第三第四节课，雕庄中心小学六年级的英语课异常热闹。六年级组英语老师在开展“扬传统文化，庆元宵说英语”主题英语课。
   Lantern Festival is a Chinese traditional festival. It is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar year.老师们手持红灯笼，用英语介绍即将到来的元宵节，“What do people usually do at Lantern Festival? ”同学们在学习了元宵节的英语表达后纷纷描述“We usually make and eat tangyuan at Lantern Festival.” “We often make or buy red lanterns at Lantern Festival.” “I always light and watch the  beautiful ,colourful and bright firewoks at Lantern Festival.” “I sometimes watch the lion or dragon dance . It’s exciting.We like it!”“ Everything is very interesting and everyone is very happy.”同学们尽己所能，尝试着用英语表达对节日的热爱，对家人朋友老师的祝福，虽然也会有语法错误，或词不达意，但大家的心是通的，祝福是真的！“ While making lanterns people usually write riddles on lanterns ,We also can guess the riddles ”当老师提到猜谜游戏时，同学们已经按捺不住，跃跃欲试，争着想来露一手。老师们早有准备，把字谜小纸条分发给同学们，当看到字谜时，同学们傻了眼，“啊！原来全是英语啊”“当然啦，英语课就得学会看懂英语字谜，用英语说答案！”于是大家也不放弃，尽可能连猜带蒙，小组讨论，求助老师。最终也顺利知道了答案，拿到了奖品，也丰富了英语知识，真是收获满满。

本次主题英语课旨在传承中华民族的传统文化，活让学生通过体验，感受中华民族文化的魅力，营造欢乐、祥和、平安、健康、文明的节日氛围，Happy English,Happy Lantern Festival。
